Education and Flixn

Since our re-launch, we’ve had quite a few questions from our friends in the educational space about when we’re going to offer products they can incorporate into their classrooms.  The short answer: soon.  Before we retired the original Flixn.com a few short months ago, many school districts and universities had been using our freely available webcam recording technology in and out of the classroom.  Unfortunately, our recent changes didn’t allow for the continuation of the service - but all is not lost.

We were ecstatic about providing these tools and believe that the kinds of solutions we provide, in a more targeted form, can make a lasting impact when used in this segment.  We believe it’s everyone’s duty to help improve the education of our youth using whatever resources available to them, and we look forward to bringing these services back in expanded form with even more functionality.

We’re exploring a late summer/early fall launch of a version of FMP that can be used in K-12 free of charge, and also in higher education for a reduced rate.  If you are an educator or administrator, please do email us your ideas and feedback.  We are commited to implementing anything that you feel would help enhance your students’ classroom experience, improve your abilities to teach effectively, or further engage your students through the use of video.
